The last day of February and today's temperature was 70 degrees!  I noticed these flowers while taking Hadley to school this morning.  This afternoon I walked back over to take some photos.   Spring flowers make me so happy!  These look like a variety of Siberian iris, but whatever they are, they brightened my day.  Thank you Lord for the gift of flowers!

I also had to post this photo of our lesson in Patch the Pirate Club.  In this shot McKenna is watching as Noelle is squeezing the toothpaste out of its tube.  The kids all had a turn until the tube had been completely emptied. They also each had a turn trying to put the toothpaste back.  The object, and the point of our lesson tonight, was that the toothpaste is like mean or hurtful words we use.  Once you say something mean to someone, or squeeze toothpaste out of its tube, you cannot-no matter how you try--you cannot put it back.  This is why we must be so careful of what we say to each other.  This is a lesson that we can all take to heart.
